DJI has just announced the new Mavic Pro Platinum drone (DJI Store/Amazon/B&H Photo/Adorama) , it is an updated verison of DJI Mavic Pro. According to DJI, Mavic Pro Platinum noise has been reduced by up to 4dB (60% noise power) ande xtended flight time to 30 minutes with new FOC sinusoidal driver ESCs and 8331 propellers for a quieter, more enjoyable flight experience.
DJI has just announced two new drones at IFA 2017. The Mavic Pro Platinum is an update Mavic Pro drone, it will be $100 expensive than original Mavic Pro, and Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian has same specs as current Phantom 4 Pro, same price as Phantom 4 Pro. Both new announced drones will be shipping in late September, 2017.

DJI has just announced a new reward program called “DJI Threat Identification Reward Program”, to pay for discovered bugs or exploits in their drones and softwares. This program is to create a formal line of communication between researchers and hackers to the drone maker. The company will pay between $100 and $30,000 for qualifying bugs, “depending on the potential impact of the threat.”

DJI has just released a new firmware update for DJI Spark (DJI/Amazon/B&H Photo/Adorama). This new firmware version is V 01..00.0600, unlike previous firmware updates, this is a mandatory firmware, Spark owners must install this firmware before 2017-9-1, otherwise the aircraft will not be able to take off.
